A lot of old yadda has been talked on my blog over the last few weeks. I don’t know why I am writing this in the passive voice. The yadda has come directly from me and has pretty much gone along the lines of:
#atozchallenge yadda yadda, A is for arse yadda, greek philosophy yadda yadda, Bibsey yadda to fade… and fade back in with my Granny yadda yadda, I don’t do any cleaning bravado bravado yadda, the sun shines in Spain yadda, my baheena is a lazy arse and wears odd socks yadda yadda yadda…
… and I’m back in the room.
And so for my penultimate A-Z post (Zed’s in the bag baby. Zed’s in the bag) I am blogging about blogging, because when in doubt and all that, yes, that’s right, blog about blogging. And honestly, today I am knackered. We have been out for the day (lovely) and home now to face a dinner (sausages) that is uncooked and a blog post that is unwritten.
But as Zed is in the bag and has no plans to become a reflective ‘so, how was it for me?’ post, I thought that maybe this evening I might just mention how cool this whole April blogging thing has been for me.
Of course there has been some absolutely brilliant yadda going on out there in blogland this month in the name of the alphabet. Please do check out the blogs in my A-Z blogroll in the right hand sidebar. I hope in all the spare time I am due in May – when I am not tackling my post-A-Z To Do List, and cleaning until my knuckles bleed – to check out some of the other blogs on the A-Z list. Suspect that there is some crazy stuff out there too.
For myself, I have discovered a few things:
- The Stephen Cefalo painting of the mother and child which I find so utterly arresting, and which I would not have found if I was not looking for it – if you know what I mean.
- Xanthippe – the brilliant shrew, and my new internal cheerleader for when I feel bad about getting a bit shouty around here.
- That I can write something about nothing to a deadline of midnight every day for a short period and not need to be wrung out like a wet rag at the end of it.
- Lovely comments makes the blogging world go round – similar to fat-bottomed girls.
I hope that this post isn’t rubbish because in the time that it has taken to write it, and cook bangers and mash, I have had at least *winks* two glasses of cava… what are the laws on drink blogging? Dunno.
…yadda, yadda, yadda…
