As I find myself, in these late autumn days, somewhat manually challenged, I have been looking out for shortcuts, work-arounds and ditch-its wherever I go. That would be the bathroom, bedroom and kitchen and not much further afield, unless of course I am sitting motionless in a moving car.
Bones need time to heal and I am trying to stay a little bit still.
To that end, and as QWERTY is no longer my friend, the blog gets the same treatment. So I have been out and about on the internet looking for autumnal art. In amongst all the more obvious flaming trees and fiery redheads I found this beautiful still life by Sevillano artist Jesús Fernández Romero.
I just want to reach in and top-up that glass. Oh, and nick a grape while I am at it. Erm, with that said, you might want to go elsewhere for your serious art appreciation needs. Seriously. I may sound like an expert, but I am not. Really.
And how could I not include this surreal image by Chilean photographer Simon Pais-Thomas as an homage to Older Mum in a Muddle who is hosting the #oneweek meme celebrating autumn all this week. Pop over there and you will instantly understand why this made me think of her.
